Any normal parent would have chewed their kid out, refused to talk to the kid but not do what Gabriel did. Unlike Gabriel Agreste who when his son lost a book(no matter how precious it was) literally threw about all his son's portraits, acted as though the very thought of Adrien was poisonous and banned him from going to school. She,clearly demonstrates the traits of an extremely strict parent yet cares for her child- something a real parent would do. She was understandably ratty and got herself akumatized, but then she let Kagami have some fun. She neither throws Kagami's pictures about nor does she stop her from going into the outside world anymore. Look, even Tomoe, shows affection to Kagami from time to time and cares about Kagami's happiness- for instance when Kagami wants to participate in the game, while initially being ratty about Kagami lying to her- forgives her and gives her permission to go have fun. Maybe that's why Gabriel does not behave like a proper parent to Adrien. The effect of controlling the sentimonster drained and exhausted her to the point where she fell into a coma. So I believe that when Gabriel and Emilie realised the effect the Peacock Miraculous was having on Emilie 's health and then Emilie made a copy of herself- to remind Gabriel of herself. Even if Emilie and Gabriel managed to produce a kid through biological means, Adrien would be a very sick and weak child due to his Mother's illness and his Father's Age, Gabriel is waaaay too old to produce children through Biological means. I always thought it was weird that Adrien was a copy of his mother's. If Adrien were born within Biological means,then a few of his dominant genes would be Gabriel's too. He has none of his father's features or traits.
See- Adrien is kind like his mother, looks like a male child copy of his mum. That is pretty disconcreting.Īdrien has literally no genes from his Father. Yet- have you seen a single photo of baby Adrien? Nope. Gabriel keeps tons of photos of himself,his wife and his son. I could rant about how awesome truly Marinette is,but this is about Adrien so let's move on. I've had too much of the fandom treating him like some cinnamon bun and treating Marinette like she is the very definition of imperfection. Now don't give me the Adrien is Sheltered and overly protected nonsense. I believe that the Agreste's might have created a sentimonster- a symbol of Perfection. With Thomas saying on Twitter that Adrien is Perfect.
